2009 Queen Palm Fruit

Any ideas???

One of my Queen Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) is feeling Fat 'n Happy and she's blooming profusely!  She's developing a HUGE quantity of fruits, and I'm not sure what (if anything) I can do with 'em...

I understand that they are edible and that, in their native South America, they are used to make jelly - but I'm not sure what's involved with that - or if anyone has a recipe I can follow.

Clearly they aren't ripe yet (they ripen to orange-red, if I'm not mistaken).  If anyone has any ideas/suggestions of what I can do with all this fruit, I am definitely interested!  Please post a reply on gardenweb.com - or send me an email to IMQTPI [at] gmail [dot] com.  Thanks!
